Owner of Angie’s Dance Academy, studied with Beale Fletcher from childhood and began teaching at an early age. She graduated King’s Business College in Charlotte and quickly came home to become the manager of the Fletcher School of Dance in Clyde. With more than seventeen years teaching experience, Angie opened the Academy in 1991. She is certified to teach, by test, through Dance Masters of America, Inc., an organization comprised of professional dance teachers across the United States.

Elizabeth Gardner has studied jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical for over 20 years and has been teaching beginner to advanced students at the Academy for 18 years. Her students have earned Top Overall awards including the prest igious “Best Choreography”, “Beale Fletcher Entertainment Award” and the “Peggy Fletcher Creativity Award”.

Allison began her training as a child with Marilyn Cloutier in Sylva and with Peggy, Linda, and Walter Fletcher in Asheville, North Carolina. At the age of fifteen, she left home to train and school at The North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem and then The Virginia School of the Arts in Lynchburg. |

Lynn Brannon Lasley, a native of Haywood County, studied ballet, tap and jazz with Beale and Peggy Fletcher from an early age. Simultaneously, Lynn studied gymnastics with Sue Fields Persons at WCU and was a competitive gymnast in Haywood County with Coach Susan Bullock Hartsell. Lynn also helped Bebe Abel with Spotlights Youth Theatre and was choreographer and performer with Haywood Arts Repertoire Theatre at age 17 and for a number of years during college. |

Hayley Leis has been a student at the Academy since 1996. Throughout her years at the studio she has been trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical and Modern. She joined "Angie's Aces" in 1997 and has traveled to many different competitions with the academy including two national competitions in Myrtle Beach and New York City.

Fleming began her dance training with Peggy Wingate of Goldsboro Ballet
and continued her training in high school at North Carolina School of
the Arts. She was awarded the Katharine Smith Reynolds Scholarship to
U.N.C.G., received the Virginia Moomaw Award for dance theory and
performance, and in 1994 graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of
Science in Dance Education. Upon graduation, Fleming taught for five
years on the dance faculty at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm
Beach, Florida.

Sarah is a 23 year old native of Asheville, NC. She trained with the Asheville Ballet for over a decade under the direction of Ann Dunn. She performed principle roles in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Porgy and Bess, Firebird and in the contemporary works ANNA!, Wood, Lauda Jerusalem, and Element.

Miss Molly is a 23 year-old native of Canton, NC, who danced at the Academy for 15 years where she was trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern. As a member of Angie's Aces she attended numerous local and national dance competitions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and New York.
